Worcester Shooting Victim Dies Following Paine Street Crash
The victim drove into a home after he was shot. A teenager has been charged in connection to the incident.

WORCESTER, MA — A man who drove into a home after being shot by a teenager last month has died, Worcester police reported Friday.
The driver was hit by gunfire around 9 p.m. on April 30, causing him to drive into a Paine Street home.
On May 9, Worcester police arrested a 16-year-old in connection to the shooting. He was charged with armed assault to murder, possession of a loaded gun without a license and possession of ammunition without a license.

Worcester police said Friday the shooting will now be considered a homicide, which indicates possible new charges for the teen.
The man's death is the sixth gun-related death in Worcester in 2024 following the fatal shootings of a 17-year-old in February, a mother and her 11-year-old daughter on March 5, a 14-year-old in shot inside an apartment along Rodney Street on April 26 and a 24-year-old man shot along Allendale Street on April 13.
