Worcester Students Get Hands-On Experience At Berklee College Of Music Workshop
More than a dozen students participated.
WORCESTER, MA — More than a dozen Worcester Public Schools students participated in a Modern Band Workshop hosted by Berklee College of Music.
At the workshop, which was guided by Danielle Collins of InspireEd, students prepared and performed two songs. The event on Saturday also included a panel discussion with more than 40 music educators from the Northeast.
Ginalee Diaz, Jazenaliz Cordova, Adriani Lovet, William Quinones Soliver, Caleb Opoku Ampong and Seerwan Al Shankal of North High School; Camilla Snyder, Jadiel Ortiz and Pavel Orellana of South High Community School; and Giovanni LeBron, Maria Perez Hernandez, Marco Gambaccini, Ian Vigo Torres and Mia Santos of Burncoat Middle School all participate in the workshop.

"The students’ talent, teamwork, and creativity left a lasting impression on workshop attendees and highlighted the opportunities WPS provides for students to explore their musical passions," wrote the school district in a news release.
