Worcester Teen Accused Of Lewd Act In Lyft: Police

WORCESTER, MA — A teen from Worcester is facing charges after an incident in a ride-share vehicle.

A 15-year-old has been charged after a female Lyft driver said he started masturbating in the back of her car. The incident happened on Thursday shortly before 1 p.m., according to the Southbridge Police Department.

The driver, who picked up the teen in Worcester, said she was about ten minutes away from the drop-off location in Southbridge when she noticed what he was doing.

She said that when she called the police, the teen fled on foot.

Officers were able to later find the suspect on Mechanic Street. He was charged with open and gross lewdness and disorderly conduct.
