High-Speed Chase Ends With 2 Police Cars Hit, Worcester Teen Charged
He now faces 16 charges.
WORCESTER, MA — A teen from Worcester is now facing charges after leading police on a high-speed pursuit that began in Webster.
Samuel McCausland was driving a stolen vehicle when police tried to pull him over. The 19-year-old fled and intentionally struck an Auburn Police Car and a State Police Car, according to the Webster Police Department.
After the crash, McCausland fled on foot, and police chased him through the Vernon Hill area of Worcester, where he was eventually taken into custody.

McCausland had been driving an Infiniti Q50 car that was stolen from a car dealership the night before.
He is now facing 16 different charges, including Assault and Battery on Law Enforcement with a Dangerous Weapon and Reckless Operation of a Vehicle.
