Worcester Woman Hit By Vehicle While Walking In Travel Lane, Police

The incident remains under investigation.

WORCESTER, MA — A woman was hit by a vehicle in Worcester at around 7 p.m. on Sunday.

A 31-year-old Worcester resident was walking in a travel lane on Belmont Street when she was struck, according to police. The woman was in critical condition, but as of Wednesday, she is conscious and breathing on her own.

Police said the driver remained on scene and that the incident remains under investigation.
