Zombie Invasion Closes Worcester Train Station
The zombie apocalypse is here, at least for a few hours on Wednesday in Worcester.

WORCESTER, MA — Steer clear of Worcester's Union Station on Wednesday, unless you want to get brained out by a zealous production assistant.
The city's train hub will close Wednesday between 10 a.m. and midnight for the ongoing production of season 2 of "The Walking Dead: Dead City." The show, a spinoff of the zombie hit "The Walking Dead," has been filming in Worcester this month, turning whole sections of the downtown area into a stand-in for post-zombie apocalypse New York City.
MBTA Commuter Rail trains will still serve Worcester on Wednesday, but riders will have to catch trains at the temporary platform at 45 Shrewsbury St., which is located just east of Union Station under the I-290 overpass. That's the entrance many riders have been using during platform construction at Union Station over the past year.
