WPD Charge 3 In Firearm And Drug Bust
Three people were charged with several firearm- and drug-related offenses after police search an apartment on Pearl Street.
WORCESTER, MA - Worcester police on Monday charged three individuals in connection to a search warrant for a Plum Street apartment.
In the early morning hours of Feb. 10 officers searched the apartment and detained three people. Officers said they found what appeared to be powdered cocaine, fentanyl, and crack cocaine. The police also recovered a large-capacity feeding device with 9mm rounds, packaging materials, and scales.
Drayal Perez Deaza, 25, Karina Vargas, 27 and Lisbed Rodriguez, 41 were arrested and charged with varying offenses. Deaza was charged with Possession of a Loaded Firearm with a License, Possession of Ammunition without an FID card, Possession of a Firearm during Commission of a Felony, two counts of Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device, Trafficking in a Class B substance 36-99 Grams (cocaine3), Trafficking in a Class A Substance (Fentanyl) 18-36 Grams and Improper Storage of a Firearm.

Vargas faces the same charges but with Trafficking in a Class A Substance (Fentanyl) over 10 grams rather than 18-36. Rodriguez was charged with an outstanding arrest warrant and Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute.
