Youth Indicted For Fatal Worcester Shooting: Report

A 17-year-old was indicted by a Worcester Court grand jury for a shooting that led to a death in April 2024.

WORCESTER, MA - Kayden M. Keane Hoffer, a 17-year-old, was indicted by a grand jury for a shooting that caused a car to crash into a Worcester home in April 2024 and killed one person, Boston 25 reported.

Officers found a vehicle that crashed into a house on Pine Street with a man inside the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, later identified as Ethan Renteria, 19, of Worcester was admitted to the hospital. He succumbed to his injuries three weeks later on May 16, 2024.

Hoffer is expected to be arraigned on Jan. 13, and the case will be moved to Worcester Superior Court.
