E. Marilyn Lyons

E. Marilyn Lyons, 83, of Wrentham and formerly of Brookline, died on Aug. 3, 2013 at the Maples Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Born in Boston on Oct. 20, 1929, she was the loving daughter of late H. Spencer and Margaret (Millin) Moody.

She was a graduate of Mount Ida College in Newton.  She was a homemaker for most of her life.

She is survived by her loving children, Martin Lyons of Mansfield, and Janice and her husband George Owen of Plano TX.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside ceremony at the Newton Cemetery in Newton, on Friday at 11 a.m. 

Donations in her memory may be made to the Maples Activities Fund, 90 Taunton Street, Wrentham, MA 02093.

Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.

Annette Mae Forester

Annette Mae Forester, 97, of Norfolk, passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2013.  She was the loving widow of Johnnie Rex Forester who predeceased her in 1958.

Born in Boston on July 2, 1916, she was the dear daughter of the late Frans P. E. Haase and Pheobe (Carlton) Haase.

She was a graduate of the Walpole High School in the class of 1934. She was a hostess for many years at the former Fontaine Dickens Restaurant in Wrentham. She had previously worked at the former C. Ray Randall Jewelry Co. in North Attleboro, and for Norfolk Human Services, a provider of Elder Services

An avid bowler and golfer, she had been the Club Champ at Heather Hill Golf Club. She was a founding member of the National Women’s Bowling Corporation.

She enjoyed knitting, riding on the back of her son’s motorcycle, and had attended the Norfolk Federated Church

She is survived by her dear son, Johnnie Forester of Norfolk and by many loving nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.  She was the dear sister of the late Olive Ruth Haase.

A service was held at Sheldonville Baptist Church, 1044 West St., Wrentham, on with a graveside service at the Pondville Cemetery.

Flowers accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Decres A. McComb

Decres A. McComb, 71, of Wrentham, died July 28, 2013 at the Serenity Hill Nursing Home in Wrentham.  She was the widow of Thomas F. McComb who predeceased her.

Born in Needham on Dec. 24, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Armenag and Dorothy (Vartanian) Mardarosian. 

A retired secretary, she had been employed by Harvard Pilgrim Health in Plainville.  She had previously worked at the Herb Lewis Insurance Agency in Walpole.

She is survived by three sons, Richard “Rick” McComb of Foxboro, Lawrence “Larry” Parker of Walpole, and Thomas McComb of Cumberland, two sisters, Anoush Delcore of Westwood, and Theresa Marsoobian of West Roxbury, and seven grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in the funeral home at 7 p.m..

Arrangements are in the care of Richard Ross, and the RJ Ross Funeral Home, Wrentham Centre.
