WRENTHAM, MA — Police have launched an investigation after an SUV slammed through the front of the Nike store at the Wrentham Outlets Friday night.

Emergency crews responded to the scene just after 7:15 p.m. Friday after a car crashed through the front of the store. Once crews were there, they found the rear of a white SUV partially inside the smashed storefront, Wrentham Police Chief Bill McGrath said.

The three people inside the car were injured, but not seriously, and were taken to the hospital for an evaluation. As of Monday morning, there has been no update on the extent of their injuries. No employees or customers were injured in the crash, but most were shaken up McGrath added.
