Wrentham Launches New Collaborative Effort For Local Businesses

The Wrentham Business Collaborative will give local businesses a platform on which to communicate with each other.

WRENTHAM, MA — The Town of Wrentham has announced the creation of the Wrentham Business Collaborative, a new effort to help strengthen and unify the town's local businesses.

The organization, supported by the Wrentham Economic Development Commission, will focus on promoting local businesses by providing local business owners with a platform on which they can communicate with and support each other, raise issues, and propose solutions, said a news release from the town.

“This is a great opportunity for Wrentham businesses to support each other and the Town itself,” Said Town Administrator Kevin Sweet in a statement. “As COVID-19 continues to adversely impact small business owners, we’re proud to offer our local businesses this chance to collaborate and stick together during these tough times.”

The idea for the collaborative came from a discussion with business owners conducted by the town, at which participants expressed a desire to connect and collaborate with other local businesses.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Wrentham Business Collaborative meetings will initially be held virtually once a month. The town has also set up a Facebook page for members to further interact with each other.
