Two historic Michigan homes are among the nation's best historic holiday home tours, according to a new ranking.
Meadow Brook Hall in Rochester and the Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores earned a spot in USA Today's new list of the Best Holiday Historic Home Tours for 2025.
Meadow Brook Hall, a 95-year-old National Historic Landmark in Rochester, came in at No. 3 on the list.

"During the holiday season, guests can take self-guided tours of the festively decorated historic grounds. For the nighttime event, Winter Wonder Lights, the estate transforms into a stunning light show that features music, seasonal treats, and festive magic," USA Today said.
The 110-room Tudor mansion, which was built between 1926 and 1929, stands at 88,000 square feet and features 110 rooms, making it the fourth-largest historic home in the country.

Ford House, which is the historic residence of Eleanor and Edsel Ford along Lake St. Clair, was built in 1928.
During the holiday season, guests can take a self-guided tour of the iconic Michigan residence and relic of American automotive history. The home is decorated in Eleanor’s "signature style of understated elegance, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that resonates with generations of visitors," officials with the home said.
Other holiday activities include a 1-mile walk around the grounds to see the many light displays, a photo with Santa Claus and complimentary hot chocolate.
