5 Small MI Towns Among Nation's Best For Christmas Shopping: Ranking

MICHIGAN — Five Michigan small towns are among the nation's best for Christmas shopping, according to a new ranking.

Present.com put together a survey to determine the country’s best small towns to do your Christmas shopping.

While large malls and online has pushed people away from "Main Street" shopping, the publication said there are still some hidden gems out there, including five right here in Michigan.

Here are the five best small towns for "Main Street" shopping in Michigan:

No. 29 Frankenmuth

No. 55 Saugatuck

No. 58 Harbor Springs

No. 70 8th Street in Holland

No. 83 Bridge Street in Charlevoix

At the top of the ranking was Main Street in Aurora, New York.
