The research team over at VerizonSpecials, which is an authorized online retailer of Verizon, set out to find exactly how much leisure time Americans spend on their computers per day.
The online retailer used data from the American Time Use Survey from 2013 to 2017 to determine the average amount of hours of leisure time spent on computers for 48 states.
Our state ranked near the middle of the list, with residents of Michigan spending 1:17 hours on average of time on the computer per day.
The ATU Survey included all time spent downloading files, using social media, browsing the web, and other leisurely activities, but excluded such activities as online shopping, banking, and use for work.
