Wildfires burning in Canada have produced so much smoke it's covering the Mitten. Here's an image from the National Weather Service.

MICHIGAN — A Canadian wildfire has produced so much smoke that it’s lingering over the Mitten now.
Wildfires burning in Alberta, Canada have destroyed more than 700,000 acres of land and forced more than 11,000 people to evacuate, according to reports. As of today, only one fire is listed as "out of control," while many others are listed as "under control," or "being held."
The National Weather Service said the smoke will drift over the state for most of Monday.
