MICHIGAN — Gas prices across Michigan are down 12 cents Monday from last week as more than 2.6 million Michiganders prepare to travel this week for Thanksgiving, according to AAA.
The average price for a regular gallon of gas across Michigan on Monday was $2.99, down 12 cents from last week and 15 cents from last month, according to AAA.

Gas prices are also down in the metro Detroit area ahead of Thanksgiving travel, according to AAA.
The average price for a regular gallon of gas across metro Detroit was $3.06, down six cents from last week and 16 cents from last month, according to AAA.
