MICHIGAN — A Michigan music festival is among the top events in the nation to see this year.
Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit is the sixth-best music event for 2025, according to USA Today's 10Best list.
Tens of thousands of people from all over the world attend the popular event, which is held every year in Detroit’s Hart Plaza over Memorial Day weekend.

This year, 115 acts are scheduled to perform on six different stages across the three-day weekend.
"Featuring a loaded lineup of internationally renowned DJs, live acts, and up-and-coming artists, the festival spans six stages in the scenic Hart Plaza, each with its own distinct personality," USA Today wrote. "Attendees can immerse themselves in cutting-edge beats, explore interactive art installations, and enjoy food and drink from local vendors."

The event started in 2000 and typically features techno and dance music.
Three-day passes are $319 general admission, $449 VIP. Single-day tickets are $169 general admission, $219 VIP for the 2025 event. Tickets can be purchased online.
