With only two returning varsity players and new coach Ernie Ramirez, the Tigers still impressed, highlighted by freshman Camdyn Drozd’s near double-double and strong contributions from senior Jadyn VandenAkker and Ellie Ziemelis.

• 'Not a Forgotten Generation': 'Holiday Giving' to surprise 75 homebound seniors with gifts (wwmt.com) — Homebound seniors across Allegan County are getting surprise, personalized gift bags this week through Community Action of Allegan County’s Holiday Giving program. Volunteers will hand-deliver 75 bags packed with donated essentials and treats, alongside gifts for more than 500 local children, to ensure vulnerable neighbors feel remembered and loved during the holidays.
   

• Educators' legacy lives on with$2.2 million gift to Fennville Public Schools (wilcoxnewspapers.com) — A $2.2 million planned gift managed through the Allegan County Community Foundation will permanently support Fennville Public Schools students and teachers with scholarships and classroom grants. Longtime educators James and Grace Walz directed their estate to keep fueling learning initiatives, creative projects, and post‑graduation opportunities. Their legacy aims to inspire future Fennville graduates to give back as well.
