• Engineering students help spread holiday cheer to rescued sea turtle (wnem.com) — Auburn Hills residents can take pride in a festive collaboration at SEA LIFE Michigan Aquarium, where Oakland University engineering students designed 3-D holiday cookie molds to enrich Benson, the rescued green sea turtle. Working with marine biologists, they created food-safe, frozen treats shaped like gingerbread men and snowmen, filled with algae-based gel and vegetables, then lowered them into the Tropical Ocean Exhibit for Benson to enjoy.
