• Bad Axe man gets jail for witness retaliation after bar altercation (ourmidland.com) — A Bad Axe resident has been sentenced to 300 days in the Huron County Jail for retaliating against a witness after a confrontation at a local Bad Axe bar. Jurors needed only about half an hour to convict him of felony witness retaliation tied to a December 2024 altercation, and body-camera footage from Bad Axe police helped support the case.
