Berkley High School looks to keep postseason run alive

Berkley High School’s football squad can move one step closer to a Division 2 state championship tonight with a victory over Southfield High School.

The two schools square off at 7 p.m. tonight at Anderson Middle School.

The Bears (8-2) enter the contest on a high note, earning their spot in the district final with a 27-0 victory over Southfield-Lathrup.

Meanwhile, Southfield High School (7-3) got by Oak Park 38-14 in the postseason opener.

The winner of tonight’s game moves on to play either Livonia Franklin or Jackson high schools next week.
