"Hoops is the hottest thing going in the winter," Huntington Woods recreation supervisor Colette Nutton said. "Basketball is a great way to keep physically fit and active during the blustery months of the year and Hoops is a perfect avenue to do just that.  It is a wonderful marriage between (Huntington Woods) and Berkley youth, utilizing terrific volunteer coaches and local facilities."

Hoops has served more than 5,000 players since it launched in 1995.
