Wayne County Woman Wins $100K MI Lottery Raffle Prize

WESTLAND, MI — A Westland woman won a $100,000 prize in a Michigan Lottery raffle, according to lottery officials.

Patricia Doe, 60, won the big prize when her Super Raffle number (065230) was selected as a $100,000 winner in the drawing on Nov. 19, lottery officials said.

She bought her winning ticket at Admiral Petroleum #5896, located at 542 North Wayne Road in Westland, lottery officials said.

"The first raffle number came back as a $100 winner, and the second raffle number came back as a $100,000 winner," Doe said. "We took the ticket to the store to double check it, but it wasn’t until we went to a Lottery office to have them check it that we believed we really won. It was exhilarating!"

With her winnings, she plans to complete some home renovations and then save the remainder, lottery officials said.
