Coolidge Highway Traffic Study Results To Be Revealed
An open house will be held at 6 p.m. followed by a PowerPoint presentation by city engineer Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc., and LSL Planning, Inc. during the Berkley City Council meeting at 7 p.m.
The results of a Coolidge Highway traffic study will be revealed Monday during an open house followed by a City Council meeting at Berkley City Hall.
The open house will be held at 6 p.m. in council chambers. Stick around afterward for a PowerPoint presentation by city engineer Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc., and LSL Planning, Inc. during the Berkley City Council meeting beginning at 7 p.m.
The study, which used existing data from Oakland County, was tasked with answering the following questions.

- Is there adequate traffic capacity with four lanes?
- What is the estimated traffic volume in 20 years and is there adequate capacity to accommodate it?
- What would happen to traffic if there were only three lanes?
In April 2012, the council appropriated $7,946.09 from a Community Development Block Grant to pay for the work.
