Moms Talk: What's in a Baby Name?

Last week in Moms Talk (dads, you're welcome to chime in, too!), we asked how you plan ahead for the back-to-school spending blitz.

Your children need fall clothes and new supplies and, of course, they want the latest gizmos. How do you balance their needs and wants without busting the budget? because we didn't receive a single response.

So, we'll soon be featuring a series of back-to-school must-haves to help you get a leg up on the season. Trust us, no one wants to hold on to summer as much as we do, so we feel your pain.

This week, we'd like to know: What method did you use to pick a baby name? Did you honor a relative? Did you pick one at random from the phone book? Or maybe you created your own name? Did you factor in how your child might be teased for his or her name? Do you have any advice for parents trying to choose a name?
