• Man hospitalized after stabbing near Big Rapids, deputies say (woodtv.com) — Deputies say a man was critically injured in a stabbing at a Martiny Township home east of Big Rapids, involving a 44-year-old Rodney man and a 28-year-old Big Rapids man. The victim was first taken to a Big Rapids hospital, then airlifted to Grand Rapids, while the younger man was arrested and jailed in Mecosta County.
