Rifle-Wielding Men In Body Armor Rob Waterford Store: Police
Two people were arrested in Bloomfield Township after they robbed a Waterford Township store at gunpoint on Thursday, police said.
BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Two people were arrested in Bloomfield Township after they robbed a Waterford Township store at gunpoint on Thursday, police said.
Officers said two mask men, wearing body armor and one carrying a rifle, entered the T-Mobile store at 5121 Highland Road in Waterford Township.
The men forced the store clerks to open the store's safe and give them the cash and cellphones, which was worth about $50,000 police said. The two men then zip-tied up the clerks and left the store.

Officials from Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills and the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office were able to track down the two men at a Bloomfield Township home, police said. They were arrested and placed in the Oakland County Jail.
