'The 10-Second Diet' Author to Appear at Farmers Market Sunday

MernaLyn, author of The 10-Second Diet, will be signing copies of her book at the Birmingham Farmers Market's Sunday.

MernaLyn's book is recognized as being "self-empowering," a press release from Birmingham's Principal Shopping District says," and was even consulted in Michelle Obama's campaign to end childhood obesity.

MernaLyn is a former BIrmingham resident and is the founder of The Players, the first dramatic group in the Birmingham and Bloomfield Hills school districts.

MernaLyn is also a professional model, an actress on ABC and at The Globe Theatre and a public relations bunny for Playboy, International. In addition, MernaLyn is a research assistant at Wayne State University's Medical School in the psychology department.
