Cardholders in ’s service communities of Birmingham, Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms and Bloomfield Hills can now borrow audiovisual items through the statewide lending system, MeLCat.
Hundreds of Michigan libraries participate in MeLCat, which allows cardholders to order books, audiobooks, music, movies and other materials and have the items delivered to Baldwin. The program is managed by the Library of Michigan and the Midwest Collaborative for Library Services.
“We’re very pleased that we can now offer audiovisual items to Baldwin patrons through the MeLCat program. This change will allow our cardholders the opportunity to borrow a greater variety of items from other libraries throughout the state,” said Matt Church, Associate Director.
