Birmingham Looking for Zamboni Driver

The city of Birmingham is looking for a Zamboni driver at the . The positon has a flexible schedule of up to 40 hours a week. The starting hourly wage is $12, depending on qualifications.

Duties may include:

• Operating equipment such as the resurfacer, ice edger and more
• Preparing ice for all practices, games and other ice events
• Monitoring temperature and humidity levels
• Mechanical and general operations
• Other general duties at the ice arena

Requirements include:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ice rink experience
• A valid Michigan driver's license
• Ability to work morning, evening and weekend shifts
• Demonstrated ability to operate Zamboni machinery is preferred
