
Birmingham resident Sharon Kelln was one of four newly-appointed vice presidents at Beaumont Health Systems.
Kelln has been named vice president of Clinical Decision Support and Clinical Effectiveness. In her new role, she will continue operational improvement support of Beaumont’s six Centers of Excellence- Digestive Health; Cancer; Heart and Vascular; Neuroscience; Women and Children; and Orthopedics.
This role also includes increased, system-wide support of Beaumont’s Integration Councils through quality; safety and service database management; analytics; external benchmarking; reporting and performance improvement.

In 2008, she joined Beaumont as director of Service Line Development. Later that year, she began working on clinical effectiveness initiatives. Kelln also developed the clinical decision support function to support quality, safety and service performance improvement across Beaumont Health System.
The other vice presidents include Paula J. Levesque of Macomb Township, Laura Glenn of Clarkston and Theresa Peters of Royal Oak.
