Brother Rice High School announced on April 25 the latest inductees for the school’s Hall of Fame. Br. Ross Wielatz and the late Br. Malcolm (Robert) Morrison have been selected as the Class of 2012. They represent the 28th and 29th inductees.
Wieltaz and Morrison will be honored at the traditional Founder’s Day Mass and Hall of Fame luncheon May 3 at St. Regis Church and the Birmingham Athletic Club, respectively. The all-school Mass and luncheon will include friends and family of the two inductees, as well as a number of their fellow Christian Brothers.
Br. Wielatz returned to Brother Rice last year and currently serves as a member of the Guidance staff. He previously taught and coached at the school from 1964-76.
