The Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling presented an Achievement Award to for its work in successfully transitioning students post-high school through its annual Senior Seminar program.
The Groves Senior Seminar, held on March 22, offered the Class of 2012 knowledge and insight that will better prepare them for the world that awaits them post-high school. The event included a morning keynote address by the 2012 Groves High School Honor Alumnus, Jay Farner, current President and CMO at Quicken Loans. Afternoon workshop sessions followed with presentations provided by a variety of community leaders on topics ranging from financial management, college study skills, and civic engagement, among others.
