Lottery Open for Classic Car Parking During Birmingham Cruise

Want to snag one of the 250 spots along South Old Woodward for the 2012 Birmingham Cruise Event, taking place Aug. 18?

A lottery giving away spots during the Cruise is taking place now through May 31. The cost is $25 per car.

Car clubs ranging in size from five to 30 cars will be able to park in other location along South Old Woodward during the annual car show that coincides with the adjacent Woodward Dream Cruise. All classic cars must be model year 1978 or older to participate.

Those who don't participate in the lottery may still snag a spot the day of the event. Parking wil lbe first come, first serve.
