Consent Agenda:
All items listed on the consent agenda are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion and approved by a roll call vote. There will be no separate discussion of the items unless a commissioner or citizen so requests.
- Setting a public hearing on Sept. 24 on design issues related to the paving project planned for .
- Setting a public hearing on Sept. 24 on parking lot repairs proposed for the lot situated between 33600 and 33692 Woodward Ave.
- Awarding the $330,560 Asphalt Pavement Maintenance Project contract to Cadillac Asphalt LLC.
- Awarding the $115,242.85 Baldwin Library Screen Wall contract to DRV Contractors LLC.
- Awarding the $61,404.40 Oak Street Drying Beds contract to D&E Landscaping & Grading Inc.
- Accepting the proposal from Aaron's Excavating to extend the sewer lateral for 436 Boonie Brier Ave. for a total cost of $9,250.
- Approving a contract with SkateWorks LLC to provide pro sohp services at the Birmingham Ice Sports Arena from Sept. 4, 2012-May 24, 2013.
- Approving the $7,354 purchase of additional items for Engine 12 from Halt Fire.
- Approving a $4,000 contract with Opdyke Consulting Group to provide museum strategic planning services for FY 2012-13.
- Postponing the until the Sept. 10 City Commission meeting.
- Postponing a public hearing that would consider the vacation of the 20 foot-wide alley between 651 Harmon and 648 Dewey until the Sept. 24 City Commission meeting.

Unfinished Business:
City Commissioners will once again consider requesting the revocation of the on-premises liquor license for Woodward Tap, Inc — also known as the . after a last-minute deal was proposed by Woodward Tap's attorney at the Aug. 13 meeting. Â
Before holding a revocation hearing — the city must request revocation from the Michigan Liquor Control Commission (MLCC) — city commissioners will first hold a hearing considering the proposed Memorandum of Understanding from Woodward Tap, Inc.

New Business:
Sidewalk Streetscape Project: On Monday, the city will hold a public hearing of confirmation on the proposed sidewalk streetscape project for all properties on Pierce Street between Maple and Merrill, and on East Merrill from Pierce and South Old Woodward.
Liquor License Zoning Changes: Also on Monday, commissioners will consider various amendments to the city's zoning ordinance, so that businesses looking for an on-premise liquor license would need to obtain a Special Land Use Permit.
The process is part of , after new MLCC rules removed the need for city approval during liquor license transfers. The hearing was initially postponed during the Aug. 13 meeting due to lack of proper notice time.
Duacati Motorcycle Sales: Commissioners will consider whether to allow the newly-opened Motorcar Gallery Inc. to sell Ducati motorcycles.
Multi-Modal Transportation Plan: Also on the agenda is an agreement between the city and the Greenway Collaborative to develop a comprehensive Multi-Modal Transportation Plan for the city. The plan is slated to cost $74,865.
Other: The three last items under new business include setting a public hearing on Sept. 24 to consider amending Chapter 126 of the city's zoning ordinance; adopting a revised Public Records Policy; and approving the proposed schedule of regular city commission meetings for 2013.
