Seaholm’s student newspaper, the Highlander, took several awards during the 2012 Quill and Scroll competition. Highlander staffers won 12 national awards, marking it the first time in six years students have earned these prestigious awards. Winners are now eligible to apply for $500-$1,500 Quill and Scroll Scholarships in Journalism. Only 302 students across the country were selected as national winners, out of more than 3,000 entries.
