Special Weekend Hours for Passport Services

The City of Birmingham is holding special weekend hours to provide passport information to U.S. citizens and to accept passport applications on June 9 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the . No appointment required.  Photo service is available.  Residents and non-residents are welcome!

U.S. citizens must present a valid passport book when entering or re-entering the United States by air. U.S. citizens entering the United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land borders and sea ports of entry must present a passport book, passport card, or other travel documents approved by the U.S. government.

Please note:  Payment must be in the form of two checks or money orders.  Regular passport hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  Passport information can also be obtained by contacting the National Passport Information Center at (877) 487-2778 or www.travel.state.gov.
