Birmingham Fire Battles Blaze At Downtown Restaurant: Officials

BIRMINGHAM, MI — Firefighters battled a Thursday morning blaze at the Greek Islands Coney Restaurant in Downtown Birmingham, officials said.

Fire crews were battling the fire on the building's roof, but a social media video shows they have contained the fire. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage it caused to the restaurant is unknown as of Thursday morning.

No injuries were reported by officials in the fire.

Officials closed Hamilton Row between Park Street and North Old Woodward Avenue.
