Bloomfield Driver Dies After Crashing Into Parked Car: Report

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — A driver was killed Monday after leaving the roadway and crashing into a parked vehicle in Bloomfield Township, according to a WDIV report, citing police.

Police said the driver was driving south on Telegraph Road at 10 a.m. before losing control of the car just south of Maple Road. Police said the car veered to the right, crossed an embankment and struck a parked car in the Bloomfield Plaza parking lot.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
