Bloomfield Hills Cow Jumps Fence, Runs For 20 Minutes: Officials
Bloomfield Township fire officials safely captured the cow in a residential area after she was spooked by a herd of sheep on the farm.

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Bloomfield Township fire crews rescued a cow Sunday from a residential area after the heifer escaped from her farm when she was spooked by sheep, officials said.
The Bowers School Farm said Nelly jumped the entrance gate when she saw the sheep and ran through the Kentmoor subdivision in Bloomfield Hills for 20 minutes before officials safely captured her, the school said.
Fire officials said with the help of a farmer, they lured Nelly in with the promise of fresh feed by the crews, and she was safely brought back to her home.
