Free Legal Help and Family Fun at WMUZ/Scott Goodwin Law Day

Needing help with a legal issue can feel very overwhelming. People often worry that getting help from a lawyer will be expensive or that it would be difficult to take time off from work to meet with a lawyer. But at WMUZ/Scott Goodwin Law Day, people have a fun and convenient way to get help with those pressing legal questions completely free of charge.

During this event, lawyers will be on hand to help people with a wide range of legal issues, including personal injury law, bankruptcy, and family law. There’s no need to call ahead or make an appointment to speak to a lawyer – just stop by anytime during the event.

In addition to the free legal advice, Law Day is fun for the whole family. This event will feature live music, games, food, and more, all for free. There will also be a giveaway of bicycle helmets for the first 500 children.

Scott Goodwin Law has been hosting Law Day since 1987 and is excited to be returning after three years of pandemic-related delays.

The 2023 Free Law Day Event is on Saturday, June 3 from 11:00 AM-3:00 PM in the parking lot of 999 Haynes Street in Birmingham. The location is near Walgreens, just south of Maple and east of Woodward.
