Metro Detroit Resident Stabs Man To Death, Livestreams Police Standoff On Social Media: Prosecutor
During the livestream, the man made several claims to have killed the man, and even showed a bloody knife, news reports said.

WARREN, MI — A 30-year-old Warren man could spend the rest of his life in prison after he stabbed a man to death and then livestreamed himself in a standoff with officers for hours, according to prosecutors.
Dominick Robinson was charged with first-degree premeditated murder, a felony punishable by life imprisonment without parole.
He was placed in jail with a $2 million bond and ordered to have a mental health evaluation. His next court date is scheduled for Dec. 23.

"Premeditated murder is among the most serious crimes recognized by the law. My office is committed to pursuing justice and seeking accountability for the victim and the victim’s family, who have suffered an unimaginable loss," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido said.
Officers were called at 5:12 a.m. to a Warren home near 8 Mile Road and Van Dyke last Friday after learning Robinson told a friend that he had killed someone, prosecutors said.

When officers arrived at the home, prosecutors said they saw a body inside the home. Robinson, however, refused to come out of the home, prompting a standoff, which he began livestreaming on social media, prosecutors said.
During the livestream, Robinson made several claims to have killed the man, and even showed a bloody knife, WWJ reported.
"Y'all was gonna let this beep walk away so you felt like you had to take it into your own hands, but I did because y'all ruled it an accident," he said in the video, according to a Fox 2 Detroit report.
Neighbors told WDIV Robinson moved into the home two months ago, which was two months after his husband died.
Robinson eventually surrendered to officers without further incident after 6 hours, prosecutors said.
Family members identified the victim as Mucari Finley. In a social media post, they said Finley was a "certified, well-accomplished" private chef that traveled the world "serving professional (people) from the NFL/NBA."
