Golfers Enjoy Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber Annual Outing

Dozens of golfers turned out for a fun afternoon on the links despite the heat Monday.

Dozens of golfers braved the sweltering heat Monday to participate in the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce annual golf outing Monday at the Plum Hollow County Club in Southfield, officials said.

And although no one claimed either hole-in-one prize — a two year lease on a on a 2013 Chevy Camero SS convertible, or a Rolex watch — participants still had a good time.

"We had a great day despite hot, sticky weather," Chamber President Joe Bauman said. "Unfortunately, no one won the car or Rolex but a great time still was had by all."

The first-place team of four finished with a score of  63, nine under par. More photos of the event are available by visiting this online gallery.
