A Birmingham native, Jennifer L. Vince, M.Ed., CSA, CDP, DCS, CMDCP, CMDCPT, founded the Michigan branch to give back to the community where she was raised. Her mission is to empower seniors to plan ahead for their aging journey by addressing all aspects of aging, offering ongoing support, and helping to minimize crisis interventions. Birmingham's West Maple Elementary students were able to meet Michigan's Attorney General Bill Schuette last week. Schuette visited West Maple's third and fifth graders on Thursday, reading to several classes. Plus, fifth graders Andrew Alkatib and Fernando Ramirez-Zuiga were able to meet with Schuette one-on-one after interviewing him for a research project.
