• Royal Oak police and fire bring the holiday magic to local kids (candgnews.com) — Birmingham officers joined Royal Oak police and firefighters to help nearly 100 local kids shop for holiday gifts during the growing “Shop With a Hero” event at Meijer. Supported by the Royal Oak Civic Foundation and Meijer donations, the night paired children with first responders for a much-needed, joy-filled shopping trip.
