• S.A.V.E.S Project promotes effective communication to first responders (candgnews.com) — Birmingham residents with cognitive or developmental challenges can now enroll for free in the S.A.V.E.S Project, giving first responders quick access to critical health and contact information via QR codes and Blue Envelopes. Started by Rochester police and now adopted by Birmingham and nearby departments, the program aims to prevent miscommunication and improve safety during emergencies, traffic stops, and wandering incidents.
