• Judge denies restraining order in city lawsuit (downtownpublications.com) — A judge has denied Birmingham’s emergency request to temporarily block the planned sale of The Community House building on Bates Street, though the broader lawsuit will continue. City officials argue the founders intended the site to remain a community center, while the nonprofit plans to sell the property, pay off debt, and relaunch as the Birmingham Area Community Foundation at another city location. Commissioners are expected to discuss next legal steps in closed session Monday.

She criticizes his statements on Tylenol and vaccines, changes to vaccine advisory panels, and funding cuts, while major medical groups push back against his claims and new hepatitis B guidance.
