DCDS students to perform Tony-award winning play

The talented students at Detroit Country Day School will perform "Peter and the Starcatcher." This Tony-award winning play upends the oft-retold story of the miserable orphan who somehow became "the boy who never grew up." Join us aboard the ship the Never Land as we encounter marauding pirates and jungle kings, Victorian nannies and vicious crocodiles, high-minded villains and unlikely heroes, in a world where all can discover, by the light of the stars, who they truly want to be. This riotously funny, fiercely tender tale is brought to us by the minds of humorist Dave Barry (Best State Ever), novelist Ridley Pearson (Risk Agent, the Kingdom Keepers series), and librettist Rick Elice (The Addams Family, Jersey Boys).
