Missing Berkley Teen Found Shot To Death In Detroit: Police
Berkley Police confirmed a teenager found shot to death in a Detroit alley was a missing 15-year-old girl from Berkley.

DETROIT — A missing Berkley teen was found shot to death in a stolen car in a Detroit alley Wednesday morning, police said. The 15-year-old girl was missing for more than three weeks.
Police said they found the teenager shot multiple times in an abandoned stolen 2013 Chevy Malibu on Burnette Street near Livernois and Joy Road on Detroit's west side.
On Monday night, a 20-year-old man picked up the teenager on the 19200 block of Dale Street in Detroit in the Malibu, police said. They drove to the 23700 block of Clarita Street when the teenager asked him to stop, and then she got out of the car to use the restroom, police said.

That's when police said two men approached the car to rob the driver and demanded his car, as the teenager was walking away. The man complied, and the teenager got into the car with the robbers as they drove off.
Officials did not report any injuries during the robbery.

Although officials have not identified the teenager yet, Berkley Police confirmed the teenager was from Berkley and was reported missing more than three weeks ago.
"We are doing everything we can, one, to identify her. And two, to catch the perpetrators responsible for this heinous act," Detroit Police Commander Michael McGinnis said.
