UPDATED: Snow's On the Way: What's Closed or Canceled in Birmingham

After school activities at Roeper and several fitness classes at the Birmingham Family YMCA are canceled. Help your neighbors by letting us know what else is closed because of the snow.

With up to six inches of snow on the way to southeastern Michigan Tuesday afternoon, businesses across town are closing their doors for the evening and canceling classes.

We'll try to gather as many cancellations and closings from around Birmingham here, but we'll need your help. Leave a comment below to let us know what else is canceled around town.

"Due to tonight's pending snow storm, all scheduled events for this evening have been cancelled. This includes boys' junior varsity and varsity basketball games, Parent SEED and the Parent Senior Night. Tonight's canceled games will not be made up."

First United Methodist Church of Birmingham

"Due to the winter weather advisory, the CLC will close at 6 p.m. (Tuesday). Arbon Dennis group and Wednesday Morning Lenten Service are also canceled for tomorrow. The CLC will be closed tomorrow if the Birmingham Schools are closed."

Birmingham Family YMCA

Due to heavy snowfall that is expected Tuesday, the YMCA will be canceling the following classes:

  • Ninjas in Training
  • Judo
  • Boot Camp

Dance City

"Due to the weather forecast, Dance City classes are canceled tonight on Tuesday. Although we would like the classes to run, we feel it is very important to keep our dancers and their families safe."
